Since 2017 Maurice Hott is working as a research assistant at the Chair of Information and Coding Theory at the University of Kiel towards his Dr.-Ing. (Ph.D.) degree.
His research focuses on digital communication for sensor networks and mobile vehicles exploiting modulated magnetic fields in harsh environments.
Within the EU.SH project "Mobile Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (MAUS)" started in 2019, Maurice Hott is working on a novel magnetic communication link between autonomous underwater vehicles.
